An experienced electrical engineer who leads deliveries safely from concept to as-built

I have worked in the oil & gas industry since 2008 — most recently as electrical supervisor on the drilling rig Scarabeo 8 for Aker BP projects, with responsibilities close to those of a project lead. Before that I held roles as discipline lead and Discipline Task Responsible (DTR) on projects for Equinor, Shell and OKEA.

As a DTR I was accountable for design development and detail engineering, job card production and LCI deliverables. Working on modification (M&M) projects has given me experience from every phase — concept and design, planning and estimating, through to finished as-built. I am a certified risk manager with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

My master's degree in electrical engineering is recognised by NOKUT as a Norwegian master's. I'm now looking for new projects where I can contribute both technical depth and leadership.

Scarabeo 8 — rig upgrades

Electrical supervisor for several upgrade projects on the drilling rig: CCTV from analog to digital, a new Next Ocean wave predictor, a fibre-optic upgrade and an Optilift boom-tip camera. Coordinated client, suppliers and offshore work with safe execution.

DTR / PRE for upgrading 21 x 690V switchboards on Heidrun — from FEED through execution. Led colleagues, provided training and was accountable for the overall electrical deliverables.
